learning outcomes
Students understand the nature of anthropology, its aims, methods, potential, as well as its limits. They know important authors dealing with the region of Middle East in anthropological perspective. They are able to characterize partial disciplines such as anthropology of Islam or anthropology of Judaism. And what is more important, they are armed theoretically for realization of fieldwork in the Middle East, they are well aware both of its methods and certain limits of observations and their subsequent interpretations.
