1. General characteristics of Islam 2. Prophet Muhammad 3. Hijra in Islamic thought 4. Quran and its edition 5. Importance and function of Quranic text 6. Quranic exegesis 7. Tradition, sunnah 8. Articles of faith 9. Prayer and ritual purity 10. Fasting, pilgrimage, zakat 11. Introduction to Islamic law 12. Contemporary forms of Islam in the world 1 13. Contemporary forms of Islam in the world 2
