Course content
1st exercise SI Units. Weight of atoms and molecules. Atomic mass unit. Relative atomic and molecular weight. 2nd exercise Amount of substance. Avogadro's number, molar weight, molar volume, density. 3rd exercise Composition of system. Mass Fraction, volume fraction, molar fraction. 4th exercise Chemical formulas. Empirical formula, molecular formula. 5th exercise Nomenclature of inorganic substances. 6th exercise Chemical reactions and chemical equations. 7th exercise Quantifying of chemical equations, computation of chemical equations. 8th exercise Solutions. Composition of solutions, concentration of substance in solution. 9th exercise Mixing and dilution of solution. Substance solubility and crystallization. 10th exercise Gaseous state. Calculations by using the Law for the ideal gas, State equation for ideal gas, mixture of ideal gases. 11th exercise Electrolytes. Electrolysis, electrolytic dissociation, pH calculations, electrode potentials. 12th exercise Thermochemistry. Calculations of enthalpy by using the thermochemical laws.
