Course content
1.-13. Background research. Creating drawing or spatial sketches. Creating visualizations. Creating presentation models. Teamwork. Presentation and defence. Continuous assignment, consultations, corrections, and handing in partial seminar tasks according to the teacher´s instructions. Continuous creating and consultations of the semestral project. Examples of assigned tasks: exterior of a car or a lorry, tractor, digger, car interior, etc.

Knowledge
of designing variants with a view to correctly linking the function and aesthetics of the product, to evaluate and analyze different factors related to the design of more complex product and its industrial manufacturing in cooperation with specialised company, to reproduce knowledge about the technical and technological procedures of processing a 3D model of a product or prototype of complex project assignment, to reproduce knowledge about technological procedures of different supporting and technical disciplines, of possibilities of cooperation with particular disciplines and specialised companies, to recall the appropriate forms of presentation and promotion of the prototype/project based on the type of customer, viewer or future manufacturer of the product,
Skills
to sketch by free hand and 3D editors the design variants of the produced product with respect to its technical functionality and aesthetic qualities, to choose the most appropriate option and create complex project documentation suitable for industrial manufacturing in specialised company, to choose the appropriate modeling technology and to design the prototype technology depending on requirements and specific factors given by design and function related to other disciplines, to create a 3D model of complex product using standard modeling techniques, 3D editors and 3D printing, to take part in time and work management of a team consisting of professionals of different disciplines on developing a technicaly and functionally complex product, to use and respect the rules and specifics of cooperation of a product designer and industrial company for manufacturing his/ her design,

Knowledge
about planning of more complex multi-faculty project to design more difficult product in a team consisting of representatives of different disciplines, about leading this team in a seat of main designer, about time and work management of the whole team aimed to long- and short-term plans and deadlines, of rules and specifics of cooperation of a product designer and industrial company for manufacturing by his/ her design, about communication between designer and members of the team, cooperating company, public and professional commission, about specific particular technical and technological procedures in manufacturing own design in industrial measure, about functional, aesthetic and technical parameters of the product of chosen project, about relevant sources of information and their aquiring, about ways of presentation of own work in front of public and professional society, cooperating industrial company, investor, etc.

to individually choose a sphere of creation and designing of own interest, to acquire specific information about resources and to start a cooperation with industrial company manufacturing similar products, to write and equip visualization of the product search in the given thematic area, to be able to present product and its problematics to general and professional society in different contexts, to be an leadier of a team, to organise work of representatives of other disciplines as a main designer, to be flexible and able to make compromises caused by wide spectrum of technical and technological requirements of other disciplines, to choose the appropriate modeling technology and design the prototype technology and mass manufacturing, which would be consulted and realised by specific industrial company, to create a 3D model of complex product using standard modeling techniques, 3D editors and 3D printing, to present model in front of general and professional society, cooperating company, investor, etc., to critically assess his/her own work in the field context and style framework, in front of a customer and other members of a team, to choose appropriate forms of presentation and promotion of the prototype/project, to choose from large scales of presentation forms and to elaborate chosen forms in corresponding quality, to justify the value of the product / project in the interdisciplinary context, in fornt of a customer and other members of a team,
