Course content
1.-13. Assigning the individual work . Background research. Creating drawing or spatial sketches. Creating visualization. Creating presentation models. Continuous assignment, consultations, corrections, and handing in partial seminar tasks. Continuous consultations and handig in the individual task. Examples of assigned tasks: illumination, petrol station, park bench, tram or bus stop, dustbin, door handles, etc.

  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 70 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 117 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 10 hours per semester

Knowledge
structuring and processing search reports about drawing procedures and composing 3D product sketches in 3D editors and free hands about designing variants with regard to correct interconnection of functions and aesthetic criteria of product about the technical and technological procedures of processing a 3D product model or prototype of a less demanding assignment
Skills
writes and equips visualization of the product search in the given thematic area sketches the design variants of the produced product with respect to its technical functionality and aesthetic qualities chooses the most appropriate variant with regard to the input (style and target group) choose the appropriate modeling technology and design the prototype technology creates a 3D model of a simpler product using standard modeling techniques, 3D editors and 3D printing
