Course content
Weeks 1 - 13 - Introduction to the content and scope of work in the semester - assigning the main semester project - final work. - Relief compositional elements of construction ceramics, both standardized (for mass production) and atypical (for individual architectural design) - the sculptural realization of particular components, materials, color designs on panels and drawing into particular architectural constructions. - Sanitary ware, basic bathroom elements for serial production as well as atypical promising designs (at least one element in the material, at the scale 1:1 - architectural studies). - Preparatory drawings and sketches. - Selecting the best alternatives. - Plaster models, basic skeleton in the material, documentation. - Ongoing implementation of the sub-tasks assigned, including consultations. - Obligatory continuous production, consultation and correction of semester project (KP). - Finalization of the KP, submission of the final version in time according to the teacher's instructions. - Documentation and presentation.

of technical and technological design techniques in the field of ceramic design, to apply them in designing, realization and technical documentation of project of ceramic sets and interior elements and complements, decorative interior and exterior sculptures and solitaires, tiles and floor tiles, interior surface designs for both mass production and uncommon promising design, to use the means of ceramic design for designing variants with a view to correctly linking the function and aesthetics of the product, to evaluate and analyze different factors related to the design of more complex product and its industrial manufacturing in cooperation with specialised company, to recall the knowledge of the technical and technological procedures of processing a 3D model of a product or prototype of complex project assignment, of technical and technological procedures related with the production of a ceramic design product, to use ways of critically assessing his own work in a discipline context, to use the appropriate forms of presentation and promotion of the prototype/project, to justify and defend their own design activities in relation to other members of the design team, to individually find and choose the field of own creative work, to search for artistic and designer problems and to come with innovative solution,

to individually elaborate a complex project of ceramic set for special purposes and interior elements and complements, decorative interior and exterior sculptures and solitaires, tiles and floor tiles, interior surface designs for both mass production and uncommon promising design, to use common and advanced technical and technological procedures of ceramic design and production based on the specifics of different materials and their processing, to sketch by free hand and 3D editors the design variants of the produced product with respect to its technical functionality and aesthetic qualities, to choose the most appropriate option and create complex project documentation, to submit proposal and selection to the contracting authority and to explain it with regard to the assignment and the established requirements, to submit a serie of proposal with theis advantages and disadvantages, to create a 3D model of complex product using standard modeling techniques, 3D editors and 3D printing, to elaborate technical documentation needed for serial production of the product, to choose the appropriate modeling technology and to design the prototype technology, to use and respect the rules and specifics of cooperation of a ceramic product designer and industrial company for manufacturing his/ her design,

to individually elaborate a project of standardized relief compositional elements of construction ceramics and atypical elements for individual architectural designs, sanitary ware and basic bathroom components for both mass production and uncommon promising design based on general assignment, to find several different variants of solution with accent on diferent functional and processing aspects, to choose most suitable variant, to individually choose a sphere of creation and designing of own interest, to be individually finding innovations and own style, to search for innovation in ceramic solutions of interior and exterior elements and products, to write and equip the research with visualization of the complex project in the given thematic area, to individually find a problematics to be solving and inovating, to be an active part of a team, to represent own discipline and profession and to individually learn to help develop the common project, to choose the appropriate modeling technology and design the prototype technology, to elaborate the prototype of high quality with the declared procedures, to be aware of specifics given by the procedures of serial production, to create a 3D model of complex product using standard modeling techniques, 3D editors and 3D printing, to critically assess his/her own work in the field context and style framework, after analyzing the assignment to assess hir/ her proposals and procedures and to apply the most suitable one to carry out the work to choose appropriate forms of presentation and promotion of the prototype/project, to reflect effects of propagation and to choose most suitable forms for targeted group, to justify the value of the product / project in the interdisciplinary context, in fornt of a customer and other members of a team, to create the design for serial production (including documentation, plaster models), and at the same time to realize the set in the material,
