Course content
Weeks 1 - 13 Main topic: SHAPE AND VOLUME - Assignment of the final work, introduction to the course of the semester, - Selecting suitable shape as template for subsequent study, - From previous study (sculpture studies + study drawings) of the shape and its forms, deriving the basic construction principles of the given shape and subsequent stylization, - In keeping with the theme, finding expression shift of the form or its function, - The right choice of material and technology for the final implementation, - Ongoing assigning, consulting, correcting, completing and submitting seminar sub-tasks, - Ongoing consultations and development of KP ( term project), - Submission of the final version of the project including all requirements within the deadline set by the teacher, - Presentation.

structuring and processing search reports, about drawing procedures and shaping sketches, technical and technological procedures of the final artifact production, designing variants with respect to correctly linking the function and aesthetic criteria of the product, about ways of communicating with the sponsor in order to identify his/her requirements, about ways of critically assessing his/her own work in a business context, about the possibilities of full involvement in the design and production team, about ways to justify and defend your own design activity in relation to other members of the production team
Skills
writes and equips visualization of the product search in the given thematic area, sketches the design variants of the produced product with respect to its technical functionality and aesthetic qualities, chooses the most appropriate variant with regard to the task (style and target group), choose the appropriate technological process for the production of a ceramic or porcelain set, creates a model and final product in the ceramic design discipline on a simple task, his/her proposal and selection submits to the contracting authority and explains it with regard to the assignment and the established requirements, critically assesses his/her own work in the field context and style framework, fully involved in the work of the design and production team, explains and defends his/her choice to other members of the production team
