Course content
Weeks 1 - 13 Main topic: AREA AND EXPERIMENT - Assignment of the final work, introduction to the course of the semester, - Ceramic image on given theme - visual design of the area conceived in terms of painting, structure, plastic relief, assemblage, - Decorative techniques: screen printing, painting techniques, combined (using the possibilities of new media) - Developing knowledge of ceramic materials and decorative techniques, - Space for experiment, - Ongoing assigning, completing and submitting seminar sub-tasks, - Ongoing consultations, corrections and development of KP ( term project), - Submission of the final version of the project to the teacher by the deadline, - Presentation.

Students have to attend supporting subjects dealing with technology and decorative techniques in the specialisation of ceramic design.
learning outcomes
Students will be able to carry out experiment, and will be able to use its results for new ways to solve a task. They will be able to incorporate, into their creations, the new knowledge acquired through individual study and discover new possibilities of access to creation. They will be fairly familiar with basic decorating techniques.
