Course content
|
Weeks 1 - 13 - Introduction to the content and scope of work in the semester - assigning the main semestral project - final work. - Dining set - design of a classic set for mass production. Documentation, plaster models, basic skeleton in the material. - Tea or coffee table set and table design (vase, bowls, textiles, glassware). Implementation in the material. - Preparatory drawings and sketches. - Selecting the best alternatives. - Plaster models, spanning basic skeleton in the material, documentation. - Ongoing implementation of the sub-tasks assigned. - Continuous production and correction of semester project (KP). - Finalization of the KP, submission of the final version in time according to the teacher's instructions. - Documentation and presentation.

| Students will be equipped with ceramic designer's competencies focused on the design and implementation of dinner, coffee or tea sets, including additional complements to dining table. They will be able to create the design for serial production (including documentation, plaster models), and at the same time they will be able to realize the set in the material. After analyzing the assignment, students will be able to assess their proposals and procedures and they will be able to apply the most suitable one to carry out the work. |
