Course content
Students of master's program can enroll in this course as in so-called second studio. Weeks 1 - 13 - Introduction to the content and scope of work in the semester - assigning the main semester project. Preparatory drawings. - Based on drawing sketches, selection and verification of solutions in clay. - Continuous production, corrections and consultation about the given project and all seminar tasks. - Implementation of a plaster model (blank form, casting the model, retouching). - Main form, casting, retouching, glazing. - "Structure" - relief print, enlarging. - Designing color patterns. - Graphic print. - Photo documentation, presentation.

  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 10 hours per semester

Skills
writes and equips visualization of the product search in the given thematic area, sketches the design variants of the produced product with respect to its technical functionality and aesthetic qualities, chooses the most appropriate variant with regard to the task (style and target group), choose the appropriate technological process for the production of a ceramic or porcelain set, creates a model and final product in the ceramic design discipline on a simple task, his/her proposal and selection submits to the contracting authority and explains it with regard to the assignment and the established requirements
