Course content
Maxwell equations, electric and vector potential, wave equation, wave propagation, ground waves, waves in ionosphere, electromagnetic field of electric and magnetic dipole, directivity of antenna, impedance properties of antenna, linear antennas for long, medium and short waves, linear antenna supply, symmetrisation and impedance matching, antenna arrays, general, phased and uniform type, planar antennas for VHF, geometric and wave optics, reflector antennas, lenses.
