Course content
1) Basic electrochemical cells 2) Alkaline accumulators (NiCd, NiMH...), charging methods 3) Lead acid accumulators for automotive application, charging methods 4) Car power system 5) Dynamo systems, Alternator systems 6) Connection of dynamo and alternator in the car 7) Standard voltage linear regulators (serial and parallel system) 8) Important integrated voltage regulators, current mode regulators, over current and over voltage protection 9) Basic information about switching mode power supply 10) Switching power supply (switching frequency higher then 20kHz ) 11) Control and regulating electronic systems of switching power supply 12) Special integrated circuit for car switching application 13) Special electronics components for automotive systems (Xenon power converter ...)
