Course content
Computer-aided simulation of analogue circuits, PSPICE program. Bipolar and CMOS analog circuits. Typical structures - current mirrors, voltage and current references. Real operational amplifiers, internal connections and properties. Power amplifiers. Precise switches and samplers. Switched-capacitor circuits, programmable analog devices. Phase-locked loop, properties and applications. Noise - thermic noise, semiconductor noise, additional noise of resistors, calculations. Digital systems - synchronous and asynchronous automata. Clock domain crossing, races and hazards, metastability. Asynchronous pipelines.
