Course content
|
1. Modeling and familiarization with the CAD program. 2. Basics of parametric 3D modeling 3. Working with the design environment and organizing designs 4. Creating assemblies and relationships between parts, specifics of the design for additive technologies 5. Preparing data for 3D printing, basics of working with a slicer, the influence of print settings on the design 6. Creating 2D outputs from a 3D model, conversion for surface technologies (e.g. laser processing) 7. Introduction to digital manufacturing - CAM for hobby machining, creating toolpaths, data preparation 8. Comparison of design approaches according to the used production method, technological limits and compromises 9. Advanced modeling tools, design consultations, preparation for production 10. 3D modeling of your own project 11. Production according to the designed model 12. Presentation of your own project
