Content of lectures: Students will be introduced to the basic aspects of intellectual property protection in the Czech Republic and the issue of information systems law for the needs of engineering practice. 1. Introduction; intellectual property in the Czech Republic; copyright law - fundamentals principles; international relations, types of authors crafts 2. Law of author and co-authors; fundamentals legal relations; copyright transfer; protection of crafts authors 3. Protection of computers programs and databases according to copyright law 4. Industry law - structure and protection; patents law 5. Inventions; utility models; topographies of semiconductor products protection; know-how; rationalisation proposal 6. Trademarks, licences, appellation of origin, protection of trade name 7. Protection of information systems; design of information systems and legal protection of authors, employees crafts 8. Internet and intellectual properties; registration of domains; protection of information 9. Communication systems on the internet, conditions of operating; computers and internet crime 10. Legal protection of electronic commerce and business; business relations on the internet 11. Electronics documents and electronics signatures 12. Personally dates protection; title to information 13. Pricing of intangible assets
