Course content
1. Information and its importance for enterprise management. 2. Information types. Information as enterprise assets and their value estimation. 3. Function of communications in organization. Model of basic communication process. Communication flows in organization. Communication barriers. Electronic media in communications. 4. Information system architecture. Management information system (MIS). Executive information system (EIS). Data warehouses. Client/server architecture. 5. Enterprise information system. Enterprise resource planning (ERP). Methods applied in terms of enterprise information system. 6. Workflow - automated process control. Workflow system types. Workflow reference model. 7. Process-oriented management systems, integrated management system, documentation management, risk management 8. Quality management systems 9. Environmental management systems 10. Information security management systems 11. IT service management systems 12. Review of management systems, internal audits 13. Implementation and certification of management systems.
