Course content
Lectures: 1) Measurement and metrology, division of metrology, basic tasks of metrology, sources of current information. 2) Terminology in metrology. Metrology Act No. 505/90 Coll., Decree, Government Ordinance, Categorization and Records of Gauges. 3) Organization of metrology in the Czech Republic and abroad, national metrology systém. 4) Legal metrology, accreditation of testing and calibration laboratories. 5) Metrology and Quality Management in Manufacturing Process and Services. Corporate Metrology Order. 6) Traceability of gauges. Quantities, basic systems of SI units, legal measuring units. 7) Measurement errors, measurement uncertainties, their determination in direct and indirect measurements. 8) Methods of measurement, principles of standardization. 9) Methods and principles of non-electrical quantities standardization. 10) Methods and principles of electrical quantities standardization. 11) Instruments and methods of precise measurement of electrical quantities. 12) Verification and Calibration - specified electrical gauges, determination of verification intervals and calibration of electrical measurement gauges. 13) Measurement systems analysis. Tutorials: 1) Introduction, safety in laboratory, repetition of measurement and measurement techniques, measurement errors. 2) Determination of variability in measurement system (MSA). 3) Determination of variability in measurement system (MSA). 4) Determination of measurement uncertainties. 5) Excursion II. - authorized metrology center. 6) Excursion III. - accredited calibration laboratory. 7) Test and credit.
