Course content
1) Introduction, measurement chain 2) Measurement and data acquisition via computer based system 3) Methods for measurement of mechanical quantities - force, pressure, strain 4) Measurement of overpressure, atmospheric pressure, differential measurement of pressure 5) Strain measurement - strain gauge 6) Humidity measurement - methods and usage 7) Humidity measurement - capacitive and psychrometric principle 8) Flow measurement - methods and principles 9) Flow measurement of liquids 10) Temperature measurement - methods, possibilities and limitations 11) Measurement of thermoelectric voltage - thermocouples 12) Contactless methods for temperature measurement 13) Resistive thermal sensor

  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 18 hours per semester
