Course content
1. History, Present and prospects of electric machines and their distribution 2. The design, shape and cooling of electrical machines 3. Principles of design of electrical machines, determining the main dimensions 4. DC windings of electrical machines 5. AC windings of electrical machines 6. Overview of magnetic circuits and their design 7. Characteristics of the load, the calculation 8. DC machines: types, properties, construction 9. Synchronous machines: types, properties, construction 10. Turbo: design, cooling 11. Transformers: The design, construction 12. Losses in electrical machines, efficiency 13. Fundamentals of heat and ventilation calculation
