Course content
Content of lectures: 1. Electric field, capacitor, energy, capacitor connecting, charge, Coulomb?s law, permanent magnets. Magnetic field 2. Magnetics flux, hysteresis loop, AC electric circuit, vectors used for magnitudes, phase shift 3. Voltage and current on basic elements R, L, C. Power, 3phase system 4. Energy, power, electrical and mechanical power. Transformer, principle of operation 5. Asynchronous machine, principle of operation, terminal box, braking. Synchronous machine, principle of operation 6. DC motor, principle of operation. Derived types of motors 7. Nuclear and coal power station, principle of operation. Water power stations. 8. Renewable sources of energy 9. Transformation stations, distribution and transmission lines, principle of operation 10. Basic electronics elements, semiconductor, 11. Power supply sources, rectifirs, principle of operation 12. Voltage stabilizer, logical operations AND, OR, NOT, XOR 13. Superconductivity, principle of operation. Distribution systems TN-C, TN-S, IT, TT, safety rules
