Course content
Lectures 1. Urinary tract. 2. Male genital tract. 3. Female genital tract. 4. Continuous testing - cardiovascular system. 5. Internal secretion glands. Nervous system in general. 6. Spinal cord. Spinal nerves and their branching. Autonomous nervous system. Plexuses of ventral branches of spinal nerves. 7. Cranial nerves. 8. Continuous testing - urinary and genital tract. 9. Brain - individual parts and functions. 10. Covers + vascular supply of the CNS. Brain ventricles. Cerebrospinal fluid and its circulation. 11. An overview of the senses.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 22 hours per semester
  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 50 hours per semester

enumerates individual structures of the urinary and genital tract, characterizes their deposition and function

characterizes nerve plexuses and peripheral nerves coming out of them
enumerates individual parts of the brain and characterizes their function
characterizes the structure of the eye wall and the content of the eye ball
