Course content
Lectures: 1. Approaches in neurodevelopmental framework of relations. 2. Neurophysiological evidence for a neurodevelopmental framework of relations. 3. Examination within neurodevelopmental and sensorimotor approach. 4. Basic principles of testing and therapy concept of Bobath. 5. Basic principles of examination and treatment in the concept of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. 6. Methods of sensory stimulation by Affolter. 7. Physical therapy by Brunnstrom. 8. Sensory integration by Ayres, sensory integration approach. 9. Forced use of paretic limb and motor learning-system-oriented approaches. 10. Use of neurodevelopmental and sensorimotor approach for selected diagnoses. 11. Sensory functions and their influencing. Practicals: 1. Practical training of elements of the Bobath concept 1 2. Practical training of elements of the Bobath concept 2 3. Practical training of elements of the Bobath concept 3 4. Application of Bobath concept for ADL training for selected diagnoses. 5. Practical implementation of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation- diagonals training for upper limb in order to improve sensorimotor function in everyday practice aktivies of ADL 1 6. Practical implementation of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation- diagonals training for upper limb in order to improve sensorimotor function in everyday practice aktivies of ADL 2 7. Practical implementation of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation - diagonals training for upper limb in order to improve sensorimotor function in everyday practice aktivies of ADL 3 8. Applied techniques according to the concept of pripriceptive neuromuscular facilitation for training of ADL. 9. Practical training in the forced use of paretic limb. 10. Fundamentals of orofacial stimulation with dysfunction in the orofacial region. 11. Techniques for influencing the special sensory functions.
