Course content
1.Physiology of cell. Development of power. Cell membrane polarization. Ionic duct and their functions. Quiscent and action potentials. 2.Physiology of muscle tissue. Molecular base of contraction. Types of contractions. Energy balance of muscle contraction. 3.Physiology of blood. Blood system. Function of haemoglobin. Energy balance of erythrocyte. Metabolism of haemoglobin. Haemostasia. Mechanism of haemocoagulation. Fibrinolysis. 4.Physilology of immune system. Non-specific immunity and its mechanisms. Specific immunity. Mechanisms of humoral and cell conveyed immunity. 5.Physiology of blood circulation and lymph circulation. Electical activities of cardiomyocytes. Quiscent and action potentials. Electrocardiogram. Heart revolution. Starling´s rule. External manifestation of heart activity. Haemodynamics of heart circulation. Flow and pressure of blood in arteries. Microcirculation. Flow and pressure of blood in veins. Regulation of blood circulation. 6.Physiology of respiration. Lung ventilation and its mechanism. Lung volume. Lung circulation and perfusion. Transport of breathing gases. Regulating mechanisms of ventilation. 7.Physiology of digestion and absorption. Mechanisms of muscle movements of gastrointestinal tract. Hormones of gastrointestinal tract and their function. Regulation of food intake. Production and regulation of digestive juices. Secrective and mechanical function of stomach, small intestine, large intestine, regulating mechanisms. Resorption mechanism. Resorption of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids. Water and ion absoption. Rules of rational nutrition. Nutrition in pregnancy. Basal metabolism. Energy equivalent and calorific value. Metabolism.
