Course content
Lectures 1. Postural motorics. Postural activities of lying, sitting, standing (normal and pathological). 2. Function of the lower limb as a whole. Kineziology and pathogenesis of pelvis. 3. Nerve lesions originating from plexus lumbalis. 4. Nerve lesions originating from plexus sacralis. 5. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the hip joint. 6. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the knee joint. 7. Foot kinesiology and pathokinesiology (lfoot deformities). 8. Walking - divisions, basic types. 9. Gait - stage of standing. 10. Gait - stage of step. Double step. Run. 11. Pathological walking patterns.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 33 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 15 hours per semester
