Lectures 1. History of materials used in OP. 2. Basic distribution of materials processed in OP. 3. Technological significance of materials in the construction of prosthetic aids. 4. Assessment of physical and chemical properties of materials. 5. Economy of production, method of storage. 6. Safety and health protection at work. 7. Textile materials. 8. Skin and its use in OP. Skin properties. 9. Metals Properties of metals. 10. Wood. Properties of wood. 11. Connecting materials. 12. Surface treatments. 13. Rubber, rubber products, their use in OP. 14. Plaster, plaster bandages. 15. Credit test. Exercises 1. Hard board materials, their chemical and physical properties, method of processing. 2. Soft board materials, their chemical and physical properties, method of processing. 3. Hard polyurethane foams. 4. Soft polyurethane foams. 5. Abformer copying foam. 6. Principles of foam processing. 7. Orthocryl hard, use in OP. 8. Orthocryl soft, use in OP. 9. Chemical and physical properties of Orthocryls. 10. Adhesives for orthopedic prosthetics. 11. Separators used in OP. 12. Silicone. Properties of silicones. 13. Applicability of silicones in OP. 14. Modular system of semi-finished products. 15. Verification of practical skills.
