Course content
Lectures: 1. History of the field in the world and in our country. 2. Construction prosthetic appliances-scope and content. Construction plan and materials for construction. 3. stage of construction, participation and share of professional doctors, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. 4. Basis for construction (medical and technical) and receive information. 5. Specific documentation and their acquisition - the principles, rules. 6. Landmarks and areas of the body and their use for measurement 7. Support points and bearing surfaces of the human body and their use in prosthetics. 8. Model as a specific substrate and its importance for the construction of prostheses. Types of models and their making - the basic principles, the materials used and their processing 9. Workflows in the process negatives - positiv - model, fundamental errors when making a negative. Negative and its importance in modern prosthetics. 10. Rules and errors in making models. 11. Passing to the use of prostheses, assessment, testing, evaluation - rules, conclusions. Errors and weaknesses construction and their detection. Tutorial: 1. Fundamentals of mechanics in prosthetics 2. Technological procedure for plaster of upper and lower limbs after amputation 3. Creating a plaster positive 4. Procedures and technologies in gypsum positive modeling 5. Creation and processing of a test bed using deep drawing technology 6. Fittings in prosthetics and their use 7. Vacuum and brush lamination in prosthetics 8. Basics of grinding beds and their shaping 9. Fasteners, gluing and their use in prosthetics 10. Use of bandages in the production of prostheses
