Course content
Lectures, tutorials - Objectives and functions of therapeutic physical training, fitness exercise, principles and implementation. - Structure of a training unit ? breathing exercise, positioning, passive and active movements, preparation and training of sitting and standing, preparation and training of walking with crutches. - Relaxation basics ? Jacobson?s method, autogenous training of J. H. Schultz. - Passive upper and lower limbs articulation exercise - Active exercise ? self-care training, elimination functions support. - Basic means of therapeutic physical training in traumatology ? breathing exercise, positioning, active movements, re-educative methods - Basic means of therapeutic physical training in burns therapy ? compensation, breathing and relaxation exercise, psychotherapy - Basic means of therapeutic physical training in orthopaedics ? simple and complex motoric elements, work therapy, social assistance - Excursion to therapeutic spas and rehabilitation facilities.
