Course content
Lectures 1. Anamnestic examination in neurology. 2. Examination of gnostic functions, consciousness, memory, orientation, drive, laterality. 3. Cranial nerve examination. 4. Examination of sensation - superficial and deep. Physiological reflexes. 5. Examination for impairment of peripheral nerves. 6. Root lesions. 7. Examination by the CNS - pyramidal phenomena - paretic, spastic. 8. Muscle tone and its pathological deviations. 9. Cerebellar functions, examination of taxia. Vestibular system, tonic neck reflexes symmetrical and asymmetric. Practicals It builds on the content of the lecture´s theory. Practical training on models, demonstrations. 10. Examination of stand and gait in neurology. 11. Tests and testing used in neurological patients.
