Course content
|
In seminars less difficult English scholarly texts are read. The supervised reading is focused on acquiring basic terminology of the humanities and it strengthens an understanding of the sentence structure and the common grammar. Working with text is guided in Czech nevertheless students are led to be able to present the main theses of the text in English. A list of particular texts is published on the Courseware.

Intermediate knowledge of English language (B1) is expected. Completion of the common English course is recommended. |

Students will be able to orient in less difficult English texts of humanities. They will be acquainted with the English terminology in humanities and they will be able to summarize the main theses of the text in English. They will be prepared for the next study of KFI/AOH. |
