Course content
The brief history of resolving the question "Who is the Man"? in the history of mind. Status of man within the framework of recent biodiversity (the problem of "human" and "sub-human"). The approach of man in psychoanalysis (Freud and his followers), analytic psychology (Jung), behaviourism and sociobiology (including the conceptions arised from sociobiology in 80's and 90's of the 20th century). Biological and social determination of the human beeing. Perspectives of the species of Homo sapiens. Corporality as a problem of human self-reflection. Biological and psychological (personal) time. Sexual complementarity of humankind.

learning outcomes
Passing the course provides students for recognize the particular conceptions of the approach to human phenomena formed in the 20th century including the ability of understanding its theoretic basis. Knowledge gained in this course can students apply in further study of the philosophical anthropology or bioethics at first.
