Course content
The view of science and scientifical methodolgy in present philosophy. Scientism and antiscientism. Culture and humanity sciences (W. Dilthey, W. Windelband). Sciences about nature and sciences about culture (H. Rickert). Tragedy of culture and methodology (G. Simmel, O. Spengler). Logic of science about culture (M. Weber). Language and humanity knowledge (E. Cassirer) . Cummunication and humanity knowledge (M. Buber, J. Ortega y Gasset, M. Bachtin). Hermeneutics and methods of social sciences (P. Ricoeur). Phenomenological method in humanity sciences (E. Husserl) . Hermeneutics as a methodological resource of humanity sciences (W. Dilthey, H. Gadamer). Characteristic of historical knowledge (B. Croce, M. Bloch). Humanity knowledge: since science till literature (R. Barthes). Methods of research in esthetics.
