Elaboration of PhD thesis is a necessary condition for final examination of PhD Theory and History of Science and Technology programme to be held. The thesis topics are determined by Department´s Postgraduate Studies Committee at the beginning of study. Supervisor will give students detailed instructions on how to approach the topic theoretically and methodologically and on the schedule of their work. First part of the preparation is devoted to reading of relevant existing literature and selection of appropriate methods. Students regularly consult their Supervisor, and eventually also other students during a seminar held for this purpose.
