1) The origins of philosophy. Exploring nature. The Ionic and Italian branch of philosophy 2) Miletians - Thales, Anaximandros, Anaximenes 3) The Pythagoreans, Xenophanes, Herakleitos 4) Parmenides and the Eleatics 5) Empedocles, Anaxagoras, the Atomists 6) The Sophists and Socrates, Plato 7) Aristotle: logic, first philosophy, physics, ethics, politics 8) Hellenism: Stoicism, Epicureanism, Skepticism 9) Neoplatonism 10) Patristics, A. Augustinus 11) Scholastics - basic tendencies, the problem of universals 12) The influence of Aristotelianism. Thomas Aquinas 13) Late scholasticism and nominalism. Kusánský
