Course content
|
Within this course, the student first specifies the content of the thesis during consultation session, or rather during seminar sessions, then he/she chooses adequate methods and relevant procedure of the topic processing. The student consults partial outcomes with his/her adviser [supervisor] and presents parts of his/her Bachelor's thesis to him/her. The time schedule of the subject and particular requirements will be provided by the Department, or more precisely, by the student's adviser [supervisor] at the beginning of the semester.

The course is offered only to the students of the European Cultural Studies guaranteed by Department of Philosophy. Academic writing skills, a good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods and basic knowledge of thesis lay-out style are assumed. |

After passing this course, students will be able to: - independently select and solve problems, - gather important information on the studied issues, analyze and specify it, - collect empirical data, systematize and process them in a methodologically correct way, - analyze empirical material applying theoretical background, - read and evaluate existing literature, choose appropriate theories, - compose written reports based on assigned points, - defense their projects. |
