Course content
1) Beauty: ancient and medieval concepts 2) The concept of beauty in modern times and in the 20th and 21st centuries, typology of various concepts of beauty 3) The concept of grace from antiquity to the 20th century 4) Sublime: concept in ancient and modern times 5) Sublime: a concept in the 20th and 21st centuries, converging features of various sublime concepts 6) Comic: ancient and modern concepts 7) Comic: concepts in the 20th century 8) Mimesis: ancient and medieval concepts 9) Mimesis: concept in modern times and in the 20th century 10) Catharsis: ancient and modern concepts. Rediscovering the theme of catharsis in the theories of the 20th century 11) Taste: origin of aesthetic category, modern concepts 12) The concepts of taste in the 20th century 13) Aesthetic experience in 20th century concepts and contemporary reflections
