Course content
The development of modern Science and rise of the modern concept of history. Ancient and modern concept of history. The modern theories of state and of society as the prerequisites of the rise of Philosophy of history. Theodicy. The Jewish messianism, Christian stories of Saving, and the philosophy of history. The philosophy of history, human rights and civil society: Hume and Voltaire, Leibniz and Herder, Rousseau and Kant. Hegel.

learning outcomes
Students will be explicate the main interpretations of both historical and systematical meaning and they will taught to use the key terms of the Philosophy of history. They summarize the main ideas of the significant philosophers who were concerned with problems of history.
