Course content
Logic as the theory of truth conditions. Logic as the theory of deduction. Classical and non-classical logic (intuitionism, multi-valued logic, modal logic, possible world semantics). Logical analysis of natural language (extensional and intensional semantics). Philosophical questions of logic (theory of meaning, theory of truth, logical individuals). Logic and the methodology of science (axiomatic deductive method).
