Course content
This topics will be focused: religious cult, religious experience and its transfer, sacrafice, prayer, inspiration, introduction into the studies of holy books (Tóra, Mishna, Gemara, Talmud. Bible, Koran), the origin of the Old and New Testament, tradition of Islam (Koran, Sharía, Hadith, Sunna), the origin and progress of christian theology, theology and philosophy, theological methods of interpretation of Bible, theology in Czech society of 19th and 20th century.

Course requires no special prior knowledge and skills.
learning outcomes
Students will be introduced into basic religious phenomens and their meaning. They will be able to summarize basic holy texts of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. They will be introduced into the problems of historical progress of this religions. Students will compare some of modern theological methods.
