Course content
This topics will be focused: Illustrations of texts and their philosophical reflection. Philosophical result of interpretation in literature: philosophy and the world opinion, philosophy of human and history, philosophy of value, freedom and responsibility. Comments to the methodics of work with beautiful literature in seminar and absovent works of humanistic studies. Topic of seminar lessons: 1. Epos about Gilgames 2. Sofokles - King Oidipus, Antigoné 3. Faust 4. Voltaire - Micromegas 5. Kafka - Proměna

learning outcomes
Students will earn the basic vision of the progress of relationship between philosophy and "beautiful literature" in historical periods. They will compare and evaluate philosophical view of some of important literar works, since Antiquity till now. Some of theoretical thesis and ideas connected with philosophical reflection of literar work will be presented to them.
