Course content
At the seminary philosophical texts written in foreign language will be read, analyzed and interpreted. The texts will be chosen according to specializations and abilities of the students in the seminary group. Texts will be published at the beginning of the semester on the website of Courseware.

  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 10 hours per semester

course is guided in Czech and Latin
learning outcomes
Students are able to interpret specific passage of philosophical source-text written in foreign language without the help of Czech translation. Students are able to identify applied terminology and critically review its translation. They are also able to translate passages of the text that will be cited in their papers or seminary works.
