Course content
This topics will be focused: renaissance, geometry and perspective as carrier of theological meanings, central constructions, the new interpretation of the classical styles (A. Palladio), ?sacra agricolltura?; baroque: baroque life feeling and spirituality, convex-concave space (Borromi, Guarini), the Czech dynamic baroque, baroque gothic and czech baroque landscape; enlightenment and the 19th century: racionalization of the sacral, social engineering, sanctuary of the new age versus history repeating; modernism: sacred space on the fringe of interest, ?sacred profanity?; sacred space at the end of the Trident liturgy (A. Gaudí, J. Plečnik, L`Corbusier); pseudoreligious behaviour of totalitarian regimes, misuse of architecture; life desacralization, housing estates; postmodernism: ?less is bore?; sense lost: house without style; liturgy restoration: new sacral spaces (T. ando, J. Pawson, M. Botta, Renzo Piano).
