Course content
|
The course is designed for students who wish to complete PhD Theory and History of Science and Technology degree in the respective academic year. This exam from near branch, which on the instant is connected with topic of PhD Thesis, is an obligatory part of State Final PhD Exam (Sub-programme Specialization). It is an oral exam in front of a jury, which generally lasts about 30 minutes. Defence of thesis submitted by a student is a part of it. The course and other requirements of the exam are regulated by the Study and Examination Statute of The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. During preparation for the PhD exam, candidates may use individual or group consultation meetings with guarantors of disciplines relating to the exam areas.
