Course content
In seminars less difficult Spanish scholarly texts are read. The supervised reading is focused on acquiring basic terminology of the humanities and it strengthens an understanding of the sentence structure and the common grammar. Working with text is guided in Czech nevertheless students are led to be able to present the main theses of the text in Spanish. A list of particular texts is published on the Courseware.

  • Contact hours - 52 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report in a foreign language) (10-15) - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 48 hours per semester
prerequisite
Knowledge
No prerequisite courses. Intermediate knowledge of Spanish language (B1) is expected. Completion of the common Spanish course is recommended.
learning outcomes
Students will be able to orient in less difficult Spanish texts of humanities. They will be acquainted with the Spanish terminology in humanities and they will be able to summarize the main theses of the text in Spanish. They will be prepared for the next study of KFI/SOH.
