Course content
The course is enrolled by students who want to complete their studies in the bachelor's program in Philosophy in the relevant academic year. It is an oral exam that takes place in front of the committee and each part of it usually lasts about 15-30 minutes. The actual course and other requirements are set out in the Study and Examination Regulations of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. During the preparation for the bachelor's exam, the student has the opportunity to use individual or group consultations with the guarantors of individual disciplines that relate to the areas of the exam. The final state exam consists of four parts: 1) defense of a bachelor's thesis; 2) History of philosophy; 3) Problems of philosophy of XX. and XXI. century; 4) One of the compulsory optional blocks: a) Ontology b) Epistemology c) Ethics d) Aesthetics e) Logic
