Course content
The following topics will be focused: the basic knowledge of the philosophical doctrines in the most important periods of the history of philosophy (antiquity, Middle Ages, Renaissance, modern period, 19th century, modern philosophy); familiarization with the categories and terms of philosophy.

learning outcomes
Students will define and describe basic philosophical streams since antiquity till presence. They will diferentiate particular philosophical opinions and they will explain its relationship in historical intelectual, social and cultural context. They will remember, describe and define basic philosophical cathegories and terms. Students will also summarize and compare philosophical opinions of various streams and authors. They will analyse and compare various philosophical positions and ideals.
