Course content
This course requires intermediate knowledge of English. It is assigned for Ph.D. students of the Faculty of Arts who have chosen English as a second foreign language. Students will develop skills in writing abstracts, reading and understanding authentic and professional texts in English, listening comprehension and oral presentation.

  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 58 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report in a foreign language) (10-15) - 15 hours per semester
  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 40 hours per semester
  • Individual project (40) - 50 hours per semester
