Course content
The course is there to be signed up by the students who want to finish their studies in the particular year and in the study field the Foreign Languages for Business Purposes. The exam is oral and takes place in front of a committee. It usually takes about 15-30 minutes. The process and requirements are stated in the Study and Exam Regulations of the West Bohemian University in Pilsen. Particular areas of the Bachelor's exam are announced every year by department concerned. When preparing for the exam, students are welcome to consult with guarantees of particular areas individually or in groups.

Knowledge
Successful passing of Bachelor's exam proves that the student has acquired the knowledge, competencies and skills sufficiently and in line with the requirements of particular study programme and field. Students will be able to: - apply theoretical knowledge practically, - create formal as well as informal letters, - communicate - in written form - both within a firm and with business partners, - analyse and solve actual business tasks to which students apply their theoretical knowledge, - describe standard business procedures in both trade and manufacturing enterprises, - create basic business documents, e.g. writing assessment, accounting reports, meeting minutes, and basic types of contracts.
