Course content
It will be determined by guest lecturer based on the requirements of the department. Students will be introduced to the course at the beginning of the semester. At the same time, lecture topics will be published through Courseware.

  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 40 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report in a foreign language) (10-15) - 12 hours per semester

to orientate themselves in the topics of current Germanist research

to perceive a coherent scientific speech at level C1 in German and understand it

to discuss selected topics from the area of Czech-German relations
to produce a summary of the German audio-text
to apply the accepted technical terms in the discussion of current German themes

to explain the terms of linguistics, put them in context and assign specific examples

to discuss, communicate and perceive expert text at C1 level
to find connections between the presented actual topics of Germanist research
to write a lecture in German and to reconstruct it on the basis of notes
