Course content
1. Introduction to institutional economics and Law and Economics 2. The importance of Austian school (especially of its methodology) for new institutional economics 3. New institutional economics. Transaction costs. Coase theorem. 4. "Law and Economics" and its development. R. Posner. 5. Economic efficiency and law 6. Economy of transaction costs and regulation 7. Economy of regulation: compliance costs 8. Economy of property rights 9. Constitutional economics 10. Public choice theory 11. Tax system and constitutional economics 12. Convergence of legal systems of EU Member States from the point of view of institutional economics
