Course content
1. The legal order of the CZECH REPUBLIC, the basic legal and detailed provisions in the health sector, the health sector funding. 2. Medical law, selected circuits legal issues 3. The rights of health care workers and the obligations of health care workers. 4. Mandatory confidentiality in connection with the provision of health services 5. The protection of the personality and privacy versus the right to information. 6. Legal liability in health care and its types.

Knowledge: Students will understand the legal terminology, acquires basic legal principles and understands the importance of the law, its application and implementation in medical practice. The student will focus in the legal order of the CZECH REPUBLIC, will be aware of the rights and obligations of the health worker. Skills: Student describes the basic legal institutions, characterizes by the rule of law of the CZECH REPUBLIC including the medical law, spells out the rights and obligations of the health care worker, will be able to apply the theoretical knowledge to model situations, recognizes the type of relationship liability, evaluates and selects the proper solution, in accordance with the law.
